A Shift in Paradigm

So, a downfall of attending an AB Trip is staying at a camp where I am back to sharing nine showers with hundreds of other women. Being a bit of a germophobe and not having had to share a shower in ten years, it's a tougher adjustment than one might think. Especially when most of the stalls are covered in hair that other women have failed to pick up after themselves. And the ceilings are covered with daddy-long-legs and other such crawly critters. So, as I was racing through my shower yesterday (out of fear of touching something, not because of respect for the hot water quota), I realized that I just needed to shift my perspective for the week. Showering is not a luxury...it's a necessity. But come Saturday when I return to my lovely home, I may have to take a shower based on luxury just because I can!
