fighting with katrina

i've made it! i have safely landed in the bahamas. i was greeted by amazingly beautiful weather and had a great time lounging about yesterday at the atlantis resort. good thing too cause, now tropical storm katrina is headed this way. isn't that just my luck?! but no worries, it is supposed to hit florida not the bahamas. i'm hoping it moves fast enough that the sun shines again soon.

i only have fifteen minutes of internet a day, so let's see how much i can update everyone before i get kicked off. so far, everyone i've come across in the bahamas are very nice, from the airport to the atlantis. the atlantis resort is huge! for all of you who've been to the opryland hotel, the atlantis has that similar human habitrail feel to it, except it is mainly outdoors with fresh air. the water was undescribable shades of blue and green, and warmer than typical bath water. the water was so clear and so warm that i was almost fearful of it...it was like nothing i've ever experienced before.

ugh...i've just been told i only have a minute left, so i need to wrap up. i wish i had more profound, insightful things to say in this blog, but for now, you'll have to be satisfied with the typical briana ramblings. keep the messages coming! i'm enjoying them immensely.

love to all! SMOOCHES!!

Kick Katrina in the butt and send her packing to Florida so you can enjoy more days of tropical bliss. You shouldn't be afraid of warm and crystal clear ocean water, after all, remember you're one half island girl (like me). Of course, the other half is your daddy, and we all know his opinion of the ocean. My guess is that my island half will win. Love & miss you lots
