two days from now, i'm leaving on a fairly major trip and here are all of the reasons why i'm wondering what happened to the real briana:
two days left, and i've only begun to pack within the past thirty minutes.
i'm taking this trip by myself.
i arrive to spain wednesday morning, and just yesterday i decided i should write my mom's cousin who lives there. fortunately, he's willing to pick me up at the airport and house me for the night. this is the only actual planning i've done other than knowing that i'm meeting phil (jordan, not my brother) in madrid on february 15.
that's right...no itinerary. no hotel rooms. no mode of transportation. no plan. no packed goods. at least i started my laundry!
for all of you who know the mbti (my SPA peeps especially!), i'm trying to figure out...what happened to my J??? maybe it's packed among all of my crap somewhere in the basement of my parents' house!
but i don't have time to find it now. what i need to do is focus...or maybe take a nap.
and ps...this is my 100th blog entry (crazy!) so for all of you who've read every entry (mom, aunt dora, molly), i thank you 100 times over.

You send ex employees all over the world looking for adventure without very much planning, it's about time you did the same. It'll be an amazing time and good job on thinking ahead enough to have someone pick you up at the airport.

briana...my suggestions for your travels include: santiago de compostela, oviedo (my former city)and bilbao. After living in northern spain for a year, I have to represent them as great destinations since they're often overlooked by the tourists who typically head for the southern cities and barcelona. don't get me wrong, these places a most excellent as well, but the north is a bit more of a hidden gem.
