alone on a street corner...

that's where phil left me as he jumped on to the bus to carry him off to the airport. we weren't expecting the bus so soon, and it came and went very quickly, so as i watched it drive away with phil inside, it occurred to me how weird it was that you could spend two whole weeks with a person, and then they are gone in a blink of an eye...literally. yesterday, during our last menu del dia, phil and i had a good time talking about fun memories from growing up. it's nice to have friends who can remember back with you so far. phil is a good travel buddy, and i will miss him. phil - if you're reading...i've got my fingers crossed that you were bumped up, mr. silver elite class. if not, i hope your temper tantrum taught air france a lesson ;-)

my day post-phil's departure was uneventful. i went to tia nati's, finished the last puzzle in my sudoku book and took a nap. i cuddled with jon ander (whose name i've apparently been spelling wrong, so says my mother) and played with oihana. i am now curled up in bed at mercedes and ales's home, but before closing my eyes to sleep some more, i thought i would make good of my promise and post some pics.

oihana...soooo cute!
